Biography
Amanda started her formal performing arts training at K-Bis Theatre School, Brighton, aged 16 where she took lessons in singing, acting and dance. She has gained a lot of experience within the music industry over the years in addition to holding a BA Hons in music through Brighton Institute of Modern Music, accredited by Sussex University and a Foundation Degree in music production. She has a wealth of teaching experience and has run her own teaching business for over 10 years, she has even coached a celebrity client or two!
Amanda has taught all ages piano, song-writing, singing and flute, in addition to running various community music projects within youth clubs and care homes. Amanda has spoken on radio stations worldwide and more recently on ‘The Latest’ TV Channel, about her own music and community music projects she has been involved in. She has organised various themed events for care homes, to running open mic nights and being asked to be an adjudicator for international competition, Teenstar amongst other talent competitions.
Amanda performed in a children’s musical called ‘Misper’, at a young age, at Glyndebourne Opera House and in her younger years, whilst receiving classical vocal training and taking drama lessons, competed in various Irish Music and Drama Competitions. Amanda has played her own music in some of the most notable music venues around the UK, including The Water Rats, (London) The Half Moon (Putney, London) Lion’s Den (Manchester) The Sound Lounge, (Sutton, London) and Piano Smithfield (London) and has 5 albums to her name, one of which was co-written with Maggie K De Monde of the band, Scarlet Fantastic, who had a top 10 hit in the 1980’s with a song called ‘No Memory,’ Amanda has also played piano accompaniment for Maggie’s live showcases in London. She has more recently been a support act for UK Touring Act, Si Connelly.
Amanda has been coached herself by music industry professionals including Eliot May (Basement Jaxx) and Kelly Bryan (Eternal). She works closely with Grammy Award winning producer Fred May, and features regularly on his radio show in Canada with her insights on the live music industry and new music. She works with songwriters based in the US who have worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Amanda records and has introduced producer Tat Tong, (who’s discography has gone 80 X Platinum) to the UK market, through her song ‘Simple Things’, a song he chose as the winning song through a competition with Deuce Management and Promotions, to record. The track was then mastered by Earle Holder, who masters for Public Enemy and Candice amongst others.

Amanda is an excellent singer / songwriter / keyboard player, with a beautiful, expressive voice which easily reaches the high notes. She writes and performs some very catchy and meaningful songs too!
